The Sam Browne began as a practical accessory for British officers during the Boer War, steadying their sabers for easy single handed access and holding up the heavy pistols which were standard issue of the time. While no longer needed to keep your weapons in place, it will keep your tie firmly in place and keep your breeches from falling to your knees with all your assorted toys. Our Sam Browne is handcrafted of full grain leather right here in our Chicago studio. Comes in our standard 1.5″ width in black only. Choose latigo or soft sewn leather.
