Called a Pain Stick, Misery Stick, Evil Stick, and a variety of other names by those that experience it. The Pain Stick is a short, springy impact toy made of carbon fiber. Makes a great warm-up toy for very targeted tapping.
Or hold the handle firmly, pull back on the tip and release for a Very sharp impact on your target area.
The sensation of the Pain Stick can be anywhere from lightly stimulating (light taps all over the body) to extremely annoying (continual tapping in the same place for an extended period of time) to intensely painful (just lay the tip against the body with one hand, and use the other hand to pull the tip back and release).
